COVINGTON- Saturday, February 27th, beginning at 7 p.m., The Cultural Alliance of the Americas (CAOTA) will present their monthly movie night with a celebration of Black History Month at Studio 525 on Boston Street in Covington. Live musical accompaniment for the film will be provided by internationally and nationally acclaimed local musicians, Roderick Paulin, saxophone and Don Vappie, banjo and guitar.
There will be a $10 donation at the door, with snacks and beverages available for purchase. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and seating is limited, so please come early. Be sure to check for future “Movie Nights” as this event is part of a regular series of Movie Screenings and live musical performances held monthly.
